Meet Brian A. Dasinger — Standing for Good People When Life Turns Unfair

Brian Dasinger didn’t become a lawyer for personal glory. He became one to serve people in need.

Born the youngest of seven in Brewton, Alabama, Brian learned early how to listen, how to lead, and how to fight for what’s right. A natural athlete and competitor, he chased a dream of professional golf, even becoming a two-time National Champion at Huntingdon College. But ultimately, his true calling was helping people through life’s hardest moments.

After graduating from Jones Law School and learning from the very best at Beasley Allen, Brian sharpened his skills as a prosecutor in Baldwin County, trying dozens of jury trials. In 2005, he followed a leap of faith and opened The Law Offices of Brian A. Dasinger — a firm built on the belief that every case matters because every person matters.

From championship fairways to courtroom battles, Brian’s life has been defined by resilience, discipline, and unwavering faith. Today, he’s known across South Alabama as a fearless, faith-driven attorney who stands in the gap when life turns unfair. His firm specializes in personal injury, criminal defense, domestic relations, and probate law — always focused on restoring dignity and helping families rebuild.

“The most rewarding part of being an attorney is easing a difficult situation for good people.” — Brian Dasinger

Outside the courtroom, Brian is a proud father to Abby and Luke, an active member of 3 Circle Church, and a man who believes life is meant to be lived fully. Whether he’s golfing, ballroom dancing, sweating through hot yoga, or learning to fly alongside his son, Brian doesn’t just represent his clients — he walks with them.

Local. Fearless. Trusted.
When life hurts, we fight back — together.

We work hard to earn the trust of our clients and are proud when we can deliver the best possible result for each of them.

With 26 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Coast Guard, Takila Powell brings discipline, attention to detail, and steady leadership to The Law Offices of Brian A. Dasinger, P.C. Her career included roles in human resources, regulatory compliance, incident management, and marine safety investigations — experience she now uses daily to support clients and ensure the firm operates smoothly.

Originally from Covington, Kentucky, Takila moved to Fairhope after marrying a Summerdale native. Known for her adaptability and warm, no-nonsense approach, she’s quick to build relationships, solve problems, and make clients feel cared for.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, swimming with her children, fishing for speckled trout with her husband Keith — and anything and everything coconut.

Fun fact: Her full name, Takila Spring, comes from the country song “Tequila Sheila,” and she loves slipping her name into the lyrics of “Fancy” during karaoke nights.

Something fun about Takila

Yes, her name really is Takila Spring! She was the sixth of seven children and a twin — her mom gave her a name that would stand out. Born alongside her twin sister Sheila, she loves telling the story behind it: she was named after Bobby Bare’s 1973 country classic Tequila Sheila. If you ever hear her sing karaoke, ask her for Fancy by Reba McEntire, she’ll happily slip her own name into the lyrics!
